Work away from Hithadhoo carries a crossing, and the crossing is a real cost rather than a margin. It is a separate line on the quotation at what the boat and the fuel cost, and you are told it before anybody leaves the yard.
We run on Monday and Wednesday. A job on one of those days shares the crossing with whatever else is aboard, which is usually a fraction of a special trip. A job that has to happen on a Thursday carries the whole crossing and we will always say which one you are asking for.
A cancelled boat day is charged for the crossing whether we sailed or not, because the boat was booked. It is the one cancellation charge on our price list and it is the reason it exists.
