Two of our four photographers are women, and a ladies function is covered by one of them. That is stated in the quotation with her name on it, so nobody has to ask on the day.
The arrangement is deliberately plain. The photographer on the ladies floor is a lady for the entire function. No male member of our team enters the ladies function, including to move equipment, so anything that needs carrying is carried before the guests arrive or by her. If the wedding needs both functions covered at the same time, that is two photographers and it is priced as two.
Permission is handled the same way. Nothing from a ladies function goes on our website or our social pages, ever, regardless of what the person who booked us has agreed, unless the lady in the photograph has given her own written permission. In practice that means our public gallery holds almost nothing from these functions, and we are content with that.
Families regularly ask whether this costs more. It does not. It is the same hourly arrangement with a different photographer's name on it.
