Three chairs, one room, one bride at a time
Open since 2020 on the ground floor of Iskandharu Magu.
What we decided not to sell
A beauty room in Malé can sell a long list of things, and the money is in the length of the list. We cut ours down instead.
No waxing, because threading is quicker and kinder on a face and we are good at it. No black henna, at any price, for any wedding, because of what is in it. No treatment sold as a course of six when one will do the same thing. No skin claims at all: a facial here is an hour of cleaning and a mask, and anything past that is a doctor's business.
What is left is a short list done properly, in a room where the window is covered and nobody's photograph leaves on a phone. Four years in, the short list is why people come back.
How we work
One beautician per customer
The person who starts your appointment finishes it.
Brides take the room
No other appointments on a wedding morning, at all.
We will tell you no
A brow we will not thin, a heel we will send to a doctor, a paste we will not use.
The three of us
Aminath Sheeza
Threading since she was nineteen, on her own since 2020. Does most of the brows in the room and all of the bridal trials.
Mariyam Nuha
Draws freehand and has never used a stencil. Most of the henna on this website is hers, and she is the reason we book three months out in we...
Hawwa Sifza
Manicures, pedicures and gel, and the person who will spend fifteen minutes on a heel that everybody else rushes.
