Air cargo is a different rhythm from the port. A clean file often clears the same day it lands, and the whole value of the service is being ready before the flight arrives.
We keep somebody at the airport every working day and on Saturdays, and we handle courier consignments as well as freight. Courier parcels are where most companies get caught: the value is small, the paperwork from the sender is usually poor, and nobody wants to spend half a day on a parcel worth eleven thousand rufiyaa.
We do that work at a fixed low fee, because an importer who cannot get a spare part out of a courier shed is an importer with a stopped machine.
Spares, samples, medical devices, laboratory items and anything with a permit attached are what we see most. Send us the airway bill and the invoice the day it ships and we will have the declaration ready before it lands.
