What it costs

⃂ 2,400.00 Per person

Nothing is paid on this website. You reserve a place on an intake, the office rings you within a day, and the interview decides the level before any money moves.

The fee is paid by bank transfer to the account in the confirmation email, or in cash at the office in the afternoon. A receipt carrying your enrolment reference comes back once it has arrived, and the place is held for seven days from the confirmation.

The exam preparation course may be paid in two halves, the second before week five. Hospitality courses paid for by a resort are invoiced to the resort, monthly, against an attendance sheet the office sends with the invoice, and no staff member is ever asked for money at the door.

The placement and needs interview is free. Speaking practice hours are paid singly at the office or in blocks of five, and a block is cheaper and does not expire.

Eight hours a week for ten weeks, in a group capped at ten, for people who are going abroad to study and have an international English test to sit before they go. Eighty hours, and it is the hardest course we run.

The four hours that matter most are writing and speaking, because those are where people who read English comfortably lose marks they did not expect to lose. Every week you write two pieces under time and get both back marked against the criteria the test actually uses, and you sit a recorded speaking task that your teacher plays back to you. Listening to yourself is unpleasant in week one and is the single fastest thing that improves a speaking score.

The other four hours are reading under time, listening under time, and the grammar and vocabulary that the writing marking keeps finding. Nothing here is taught because it is on a syllabus; it is taught because the marked work from the last intake showed it was needed.

We will not tell you what score you will get, and anybody who does is guessing with your money. What we will tell you, in week seven, is honestly whether we think you should sit the test on the date you have booked or move it, and that conversation is based on your marked work rather than on how much of the course you have paid for.
