Forty staff, one office, and a request for something on every desk before people arrived on the last working morning before Eid.
The quantity was not the difficult part. The names were. Forty small arrangements with forty cards is forty chances to attach the wrong one, so they were built in labelled trays and checked twice against the list the office sent, once when they were made and once in the van.
We delivered between nine and eleven, which is the only sensible window for an office delivery. After three in the afternoon a reception desk is where things are left and forgotten.
One invoice with GST, one transfer, one reference. They have asked for the same thing again this year and we have asked them for the name list a week earlier.
