What you book here is a time when somebody will be at your door. The rider carries a scale and a printed price list. Your bag is weighed and the items counted in front of you, and you are handed a docket with the figure on it before it leaves the building.
Pay the rider on delivery, in cash or by transfer to the account printed on the docket. Households on the weekly bundle are invoiced once a month instead, on the first working day, and settle inside seven days.
The only figure that can change after the docket is written is one we telephone you about first: a stain that needs a second treatment, or a load that turns out to be curtains rather than clothes. You can always say no and take the bag back unwashed at no charge.
Choose a window and somebody knocks inside it. There are three rounds a day and each one covers a part of the island, so the times you are offered are the times a round is actually near you.
The rider weighs the bag on the step, counts anything priced per item, and writes you a docket with the figure and the return date on it. Nothing goes in the van until you have read it.
The charge shown here is the trip. The washing is priced separately, per kilo for a mixed load or per item for shirts, trousers and anything ironed. Both figures are on the docket and there is not a third one.
