Book a thirty minute window. The rider weighs the bag in front of you and writes you a docket before it leaves your step.
Three rounds a day, two express bags, and a weekly bundle for houses that send a load anyway.

In before ten, back by nine that night. Two of these a day.

Not a morning, not an afternoon. Thirty minutes, and the rider telephones if the traffic beats him.
A trade scale, a printed price list and a docket in your hand before the bag moves.
Office shirts come back on a rail. Say the word and we will fold them flat for a suitcase instead.
Cash or transfer on delivery. Nothing is taken on this website and no card is asked for.
Forty five a kilo for a mixed load, minimum two kilos.
Washed and pressed. Twelve a shirt, eighteen a pair of trousers.
Your own washing, pressed. Eight an item, minimum ten items.
Weighed dry, dried flat, two days rather than one.
Looked at by hand, priced at the counter, never guessed at.
A fixed monthly figure, collected daily, invoiced on the first.
Weighed on my own doorstep, docket in my hand, back the next evening folded. Three years and the figure on the docket has never been the figure I was asked to pay.
Aprons and cloths go out every morning and come back clean the same round. The monthly figure means I can put it in the budget instead of guessing.
The rider carries a trade scale and a printed price list. Your bag is weighed on your own doorstep, the items that are priced by the piece are counted out loud, and you are given a docket with the figure before anything leaves.
Nobody is ever told the price after the washing has been done. If we get to the shop and find curtains in a bag of clothes, we telephone you rather than rewrite the docket.
For a collection, the rider waits five minutes, telephones the number on the booking, and then moves on. You can book another window at no charge the first time.
For a delivery, the bag comes back to the shop and you can collect it any day until nine at night, or book another evening window. We never leave laundry with a neighbour or at a reception desk.
Three rounds cover Henveiru, Maafannu, and Galolhu with Machangolhi. The times the booking form offers you are the times a round is genuinely near your street, which is why they differ by address.
We do not cross to Hulhumale or Villimale. There are good laundries on both and we will name them if you ask.
On delivery, to the rider, in cash or by transfer to the account number printed on your docket. Nothing is taken on this website and no card details are asked for anywhere.
Households on the weekly bundle and businesses on a contract are invoiced instead, on the first working day of the month, and settle inside seven days.
By the kilo for ordinary clothes in a mixed load, and by the item for anything that needs pressing. A bag of tee shirts and towels is much cheaper weighed; five office shirts are much cheaper counted.
The rider will tell you which way round your own bag works out and write the docket that way. It is the same laundry either way and we would rather you came back next week.
We pay what it would cost to replace the item today, and we do not argue about it. Every bag is counted at the door and counted again at the shop, which is how the four items lost in three years were all found in the wrong bag rather than gone.
The one thing we cannot accept is a garment with no care label, because there is no way to show how it was meant to be washed. Those are handed back untouched with a note.
Windows open six hours ahead and the evening ones fill first.
