What it costs

What you book here is a time when somebody will be at your door. The rider carries a scale and a printed price list. Your bag is weighed and the items counted in front of you, and you are handed a docket with the figure on it before it leaves the building.
Pay the rider on delivery, in cash or by transfer to the account printed on the docket. Households on the weekly bundle are invoiced once a month instead, on the first working day, and settle inside seven days.
The only figure that can change after the docket is written is one we telephone you about first: a stain that needs a second treatment, or a load that turns out to be curtains rather than clothes. You can always say no and take the bag back unwashed at no charge.
One round leaves at ten and comes back to the shop by noon, and whatever is on it is washed, dried and folded that afternoon for a delivery the same evening.
We only take two express bags a day, because the whole point of it is that nothing else in the shop is allowed to get in its way. When both are gone the form will not offer you the window.
Express is a hundred and twenty on top of the washing. It does not cover anything that has to be dry cleaned or dried flat, and the form will tell you that before you finish rather than the rider telling you at the door.
