Big items are weighed dry rather than wet, at thirty five a kilo, because a wet curtain weighs whatever it has soaked up and that is not a fair figure to charge anybody.
They take two days, not one. Anything lined or backed is dried flat on a rack rather than tumbled, which is slower and is the difference between a curtain that still hangs straight and one that has shrunk two inches.
We take the hooks out and put them back in a bag pinned to the top hem. Tell us if there is a track rather than a rail and we will leave the runners on.
