What it costs
250.00 Per day
Pay when you collect it, or when we deliver it, in cash or by card. There is no deposit and we do not hold anything on a card.
We ask to see a driving licence with a motorcycle entitlement and we photograph it, and the photograph is deleted when the machine comes back. No licence, no scooter, and there is no arguing about that one because it is our insurance rather than our rule.
An automatic 110 with a step through frame, a basket at the front and a seat two people fit on. Eight of them, and they are the machines that go out first every morning.
Enough for this island and for the sandy stretch at the southern end if you keep your speed sensible. Two helmets, a phone holder and fuel to start are in the price, and the rate shown is for each day.
All eight are serviced every six weeks whether they need it or not, which on an island where salt eats a chain in a season is the only way to run a hire fleet.
