Bulky collection, one off
A mattress, a fridge, a broken wardrobe. An hour, a fixed price.
Ask for a booking
Send us a request and we will confirm it. Nothing is paid online.
What it costs
350.00 Per booking
A subscription starts the morning after we have confirmed it, and it is invoiced at the end of each month for the days it actually ran. If we miss a morning, that day is taken off the invoice without you having to ask, and the invoice names the date we missed.
Invoices go out on the first working day of the month and are settled by transfer or at the yard inside fourteen days. There is no joining fee, no deposit and no minimum term beyond the first week, and you stop a subscription by telling the crew or telephoning the office.
A one off collection is quoted before the truck is loaded. For bulky household items the figure on the booking form is the figure, and for building or garden waste it is a figure per load agreed when we see the pile, because a photograph has never once told us the truth about a pile.
We never collect a government fee, an island council charge or anybody else's bill, and no crew member will ask you for cash at the gate.
Book an hour and a truck comes to your gate for the things a bin will never take: a mattress, a sofa, a fridge, a broken wardrobe, a bed frame, a cupboard full of things that should have gone years ago.
Three hundred and fifty covers up to four large items and whatever bags come with them. Say on the form roughly what it is; the crew brings two people and a sack trolley for a fridge and one person for a mattress, and getting that right is the difference between an hour and an argument.
A fridge or a freezer has to have its gas taken out before it can be disposed of, which we arrange and which is included. Anything with oil, paint or a gas cylinder in it is not, and the crew will leave those and tell you who does take them.
