Your street has a slot inside the seven to eleven morning window and the crew keeps to it within about twenty minutes. You are told your slot when the subscription is confirmed.
The full route is on the noticeboard at the yard. It changes about twice a year and every affected household is told a week beforehand.
The day comes off your invoice, and the invoice names the date. You do not have to notice it or ask for it.
Three missed mornings in a month and the whole month is credited. That has happened twice in four years and both times a truck was off the island being repaired.
Because something in it is not household waste. The tag says which: rubble, garden clearance, paint, oil, a battery, a gas cylinder or workshop waste.
None of those can go where the truck goes and some of them are dangerous to the crew. Almost all of them have a route through us anyway, through a bulky or a by the load booking, and that is much cheaper than the argument at the gate.

Ramadan is a higher daily rate because the round runs six mornings a week instead of three, and the dates are published before it starts.
Yes. The weekly trial round is seven days on the ordinary schedule and nothing continues at the end unless you say so.
It is a little dearer per day, which is the only honest way to price a week. If you carry on, the difference comes off your first monthly invoice.
Yes, but on a by the load booking with the tipper, never in the household bin. Two hours and two people is one load, and the crew tells you at the gate whether your pile is one load or two before touching any of it.
We do not take asbestos sheet and we will stop if we find it. If your old roofing or boundary sheeting might be asbestos, say so on the form and somebody will come and look at no charge.
Seven days on the ordinary round, and nothing carries on unless you say so.
