What it costs

Pay at the shop when you collect. Cash or transfer, whichever suits you.
We hold a deposit against every board and suit while it is out: two thousand on a surfboard or a paddleboard, five hundred on a suit, nothing on a snorkel set. It comes straight back when the gear does. We take cash, a transfer, or a passport copy with a signed note, and we would rather have the copy than argue about money.
Proper long fins for freediving and for swimming out to the channel, in sizes thirty six to forty six. They are nothing like the short fins in a snorkel set and they will take you somewhere the short ones will not.
They also blister a heel that is not used to them, so take neoprene socks as well. We lend a pair with every set of long fins at no charge and most people need them on the second day.
If you have never used long fins before, ask at the counter. Two minutes of advice about kicking from the hip saves an afternoon of being tired and slow.
