What it costs

Pay at the shop when you collect. Cash or transfer, whichever suits you.
We hold a deposit against every board and suit while it is out: two thousand on a surfboard or a paddleboard, five hundred on a suit, nothing on a snorkel set. It comes straight back when the gear does. We take cash, a transfer, or a passport copy with a signed note, and we would rather have the copy than argue about money.
Two windows a day, seven until eleven and one until five, which is how the tide and the wind actually divide the day here anyway. Take a board out at the start of a window and have it back by the end of it.
It suits anybody who is here for two nights and wants one session, and anybody who has worked out that the wind gets up at noon. The same nine boards, the same leg rope and wax, the same fitting conversation.
Late back into the afternoon window eats into somebody else's morning, so a board more than half an hour late is charged as a full day. We say it up front rather than at the counter.
