Goods are often more useful than money and they are the reason the store exists. What we can take: children's books in any language in readable condition, stationery, art materials, school bags, reading glasses, and shelving.
What we cannot take, and please do not send: textbooks more than six years old, anything electronic that needs repair, printers, clothing of any kind, medicines, and books with pages missing. Every one of those has arrived in quantity, and each of them costs the foundation money to dispose of rather than saving a school anything.
Bring goods to the store on a Saturday morning rather than posting them. Somebody will look at what you have brought while you are there and tell you honestly what will go to a school and what will not, which is better than us deciding it after you have left.
What cannot be used is not quietly shipped anyway. It goes to the waste site or is disposed of here, and we say so plainly rather than let anybody picture a classroom unwrapping a broken printer.
