Questions we are asked often

How much notice do you need?

One day for anything on the site in its standard form. Three days for a large box or several boxes, two weeks for more than twenty, and three weeks for preserving a wedding bouquet.

We do not take same day orders. Everything here is made when it is ordered rather than taken off a shelf.

Can I choose the date it arrives?

Yes, and that is how every order works here. You pick the day at checkout and we deliver between eleven in the morning and seven in the evening.

We do not promise an hour. If the gift has to arrive before a particular moment, tell us in the notes and we will aim for the morning.

Do I need to make an account?

No. There is no sign in on this site and nothing is stored between orders. You fill a basket, place the order and receive a reference.

Keep the reference. It is how the order is found again and it is what you put in the remarks when you transfer.

Can you send a gift to another island?

Yes, and this is the thing we can do that a fresh flower shop cannot. We pack the box for the journey, hand it to a boat and tell you which boat it left on.

What we cannot do is promise the arrival day, because that belongs to the boat and the weather. Order early and give us a phone number for the person collecting it.

How long will a dried arrangement last?

A year is what we promise and most people keep them far longer.

What shortens it is direct sunlight, which fades colour within weeks, and moving air from a fan or an air conditioner, which makes dried stems brittle. Away from both, in an ordinary room, it will look the same next Ramadan as it does today.

Do they need water or anything else?

Nothing at all, and water would ruin them. Do not mist them, do not put them in a vase with water in it, and do not keep them in a bathroom.

Dust them every few months by blowing gently or using a hairdryer on its coolest setting from a distance. That is the whole of the care.
