Questions we are asked often

What does membership cost?

Seven hundred and fifty rufiyaa a month, nineteen hundred and fifty for three months, or six thousand five hundred for the year. No joining fee.

Classes and the two starter sessions with a trainer are included. Nothing renews without asking you first.

Am I tied into a contract?

No. A monthly membership is cancelled by telling the desk, or through your account online, before your renewal date.

We do not sell twelve month contracts and we do not take a payment that continues after you have stopped coming. A gym that needs a contract to keep members is telling you something.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes, free, for up to two months a year with two days notice. Do it at the desk or from your account.

Members who travel for work use this constantly and we would much rather they froze than cancelled.

Can I try it before joining?

Yes, one full session at no charge, any time we are open. No card and no form beyond a telephone number.

If you would rather come during the ladies hours, say so when you book and one of the women trainers will meet you at the door and show you round.

Do I need to know what I am doing?

No, and most people who join do not. Every new member gets two sessions with a trainer and a written programme, and we insist on it rather than offering it.

If you have never trained at all, the six week beginners programme is the better start. Twelve people, all on their first day, same coach for the whole thing.

When are the ladies only hours?

Nine until twelve and three until six, every day, and nine until eleven on Friday.

Those are ladies only hours on a separate floor rather than a shared floor with a curtain. Six hours a day, every day, which is the point: a slot once a week is not something anybody can build a routine on.
