Three stylists, three chairs, one curtain behind the door
Open since 2021 above the tailor on Majeedhee Magu.
Why the salon is laid out this way
The owner spent twelve years in other people's salons, four of them abroad, and came back to a city where she could not find a chair she was willing to sit in for three hours with her hair uncovered.
So the first quotation for this room was for the windows, not for the chairs. The street side is frosted above head height, the door has a curtain, and the mirrors are angled so that nobody in a chair is looking at the entrance. The second basin waited a year because of it.
Everything else follows from that one decision. No male stylists, no male staff, no men in the room, and a delivery man who leaves the box on the landing. It is the reason the chairs are full and it is not going to change.
How we work
One stylist per head
Nobody is handed to a junior at the basin and back at the chair.
The quote is the bill
Long hair and extra shades are priced before we begin, never at the desk.
We will tell you no
If your hair will not do it safely, you get that answer rather than a bad month.
