What it costs

Nothing is paid on this website. There is no card payment here and there never has been. What confirms a room is a transfer of one night to the account we send you, and we email a receipt with our own reference on it the same day the money lands.
The rest is settled at reception when you arrive, in cash or by card. An office booking rooms for staff can have an invoice in the office name instead, carrying whatever reference the office needs, and pay after the stay. Ask for that when you send the dates rather than on the morning you leave, because it is a different piece of paper and it takes us a day.
A room held with no transfer is released after three days. We write to you before it goes, not afterwards.
Two of these on the top floor, each with a double bed and three singles, a shower room with space to stand in, and enough floor left over for five people's bags, which is the part most family rooms forget about.
Most of the families who use them are Maldivian and here for a few days with relatives on the island, so the room is built for that rather than for a holiday: a big table, a kettle, somewhere to put a prayer mat, and a door that closes properly on the corridor.
Air conditioning, two ceiling fans, hot water and wifi. Breakfast for everybody is included, and a cot goes in at no charge if you need one.
