Nothing is paid on this website and no card details are asked for.

The fee for the appointment is paid at reception when you arrive, in cash or by card. It covers the time with the doctor and nothing else: any test, dressing or medicine is charged separately and only after the doctor has explained it and you have agreed to it.

If you hold health insurance or a scheme entitlement, bring the card and your identity card to reception before the appointment rather than after it, because what can be claimed has to be recorded at the start.

A nurse appointment for a dressing change, a course of injections or stitches that need looking at, when a doctor here or at a hospital has already written what is to be done.

Bring the letter or the prescription. The nurse follows what is written on it and does not decide the treatment, and without it there is nothing she can safely do.

This is not the appointment for a new problem. If the wound looks different from how it was described, the nurse stops and asks a doctor, which sometimes means the appointment turns into a consultation and is charged as one. You will be told before that happens rather than on the bill.
