A full practice paper is sat at home under proper conditions, timed, with no phone and nothing to look at, then photographed and uploaded. It comes back marked by hand against the real scheme, with a topic breakdown and a short written note.
This exists because marking your own past paper with the answers beside you is not marking. Students give themselves method marks they would not have been given and credit for working they did not show, and the gap between the home score and the real one is discovered in the hall.
We will also mark an assignment, an essay or a set of questions rather than a whole paper, priced by length. English essays come back with every correction explained and a request to rewrite the piece, because the rewriting is where the learning is.
