This is the sentence most repair shops keep in small print and we would rather say it at normal size.
We do not copy your photographs, your messages or anything else off your phone, and we do not want them. Nobody here signs into your accounts and nobody needs your passcode for a screen or a battery.
And a phone that has been dropped, opened before by somebody else, or charged on a bad cable for two years can stop starting on a bench through nobody's fault. It is not common. It is not never. So back it up before you come, and if you do not know how, come to the setup desk fifteen minutes before your booking and somebody will do it with you.
If you want the data moved to a new phone, that is what the setup desk is for and it is booked as part of the handover.
