Every phone gets a number, and the number gets a page
Book a bench, bring the phone, and follow the job on a link that belongs only to you. Pending, confirmed, completed, and correct whenever you look.
Pick the job, the bench and the time
Four benches and eight numbered boxes. Nothing is paid on this website.
Charging port and speaker work
Ninety minutes on the back bench, because it is soldered work.
750.00 Per booking
What you get besides a repair
A job number
In the form FPR 2026 0184, on your booking, your box and your receipt.
A page of your own
One link, unguessable, no password, and right at two in the morning.
The figure before the work
We open it, we look, and we ring you before any part is fitted.
A loan phone
Six plain ones in the drawer, by the day, with your card in it.
The number, the shelf and the rule about quoting
A job number and a page of your own
FPR 2026 0184, a link that is yours, and three words that are always true.
The numbered shelf
Eight boxes, your number on the lid, and nothing standing loose on a desk.
We look before we quote, every time
A figure on this website is what the job costs when the phone is what we expect.
Parts we keep, and parts we order
Glass and cells for the common models are in the drawer. Everything else takes about a week.
Back up your phone before you bring it
We keep no copy of your data, and a repair can still end badly.
What we will not take in
Locked phones, phones that are not yours, and anything that has been in the sea.
What people say at the counter
I checked the link four times on the first afternoon and it said confirmed every time, which was annoying and also honest. It said completed at ten past seven and the phone was there.
They opened it, rang me, and said the port was full of lint and did not need replacing. Paid a hundred and fifty and went home with a phone that charges.
The old battery was on the counter next to the receipt. I did not ask for it and I did not know I wanted to see it until I saw it.
The questions the counter answers all day
How do I check where my repair has got to
Open the link in your confirmation email. It belongs only to you and it never expires.
The page says one of three things. Pending means we have the request and have not started. Confirmed means the bench and time are held and your phone is in the queue. Completed means it is back together and waiting at the counter.
That is genuinely all of it, and it is correct whenever you look. There is no message for every step and no picture of the bench.
I have lost the email with my link
Ring the counter with your job number, the one in the form FPR 2026 0184, or with the name and mobile number you booked under, and we will send the link again.
We will not read out your repair status to somebody who cannot tell us either of those, which has annoyed exactly one person in three years and was still the right call.
Why is there no text message when my phone is ready
Because we would rather build a page that is always right than a message that sometimes does not arrive.
The link tells you the moment a job is marked completed, and the counter rings you as well when a phone has been sitting ready for a day. What we do not do is promise a message for every step, because a promise like that only has to fail once.
Can you really do a screen while I wait
Yes, for the models we keep glass for, and that is why the booking is an hour rather than ten minutes.
If the frame behind the glass has been bent by an earlier drop, the new panel will not sit flat and the job becomes longer than an hour. You are told that when we have the back off, with the figure, before anything is fitted.
My phone will not charge. Do I need a new port
Probably not. Perhaps four times in ten it is a year of pocket lint packed into the port, and taking it out is a bench job rather than a part.
Book the bench diagnosis. If cleaning fixes it you pay the bench fee and go home. If the port really has failed we tell you the figure and you decide.
What if I need my number while the phone is with you
Book a loan phone for the same days. There are six of them in the drawer, they are plain, and your card goes in at the counter so you can see it working before you leave.
If the repair finishes early you pay for the days you actually had it.
Back it up, then bring it in
We keep no copy of your data and we do not want it. Fifteen minutes at the setup desk before your booking and somebody will back it up with you.
