Three things go back across the counter, and it is easier for everybody if they are written down.
We do not unlock phones, remove account locks or work around a passcode. If a phone is locked to somebody else's account the answer is that person, not us, and there is no clever version of this.
We ask to see that the phone is yours when something about it does not add up. Anybody who does not like being asked is welcome to try the shop down the road.
And we do not do water damage. A phone that has been in the sea needs a microscope, an ultrasonic bath and somebody who does nothing else all day. There is a workshop in Malé that does exactly that, we will write the name down for you, and they are better at it than we would be.
