Screws and confirmat fixings, soft close hinges and drawer runners, handles, shelf supports, sliding door gear, wood glue, contact adhesive, filler, sanding discs and finishes.
We stock these because a carpenter who has to visit three shops to finish a wardrobe is a carpenter losing half a day. Hinges and runners are sold singly or by the box, at a box price that is worth taking.
One piece of advice we give constantly. Buy stainless or coated hinges and runners rather than plain steel, even indoors, and certainly within sight of the sea. Plain steel hardware in a Malé bathroom or a seaward bedroom shows rust in under two years, and replacing thirty hinges on a fitted wardrobe costs far more in labour than the hardware saved.
Adhesive is the other thing worth spending on. Cheap contact adhesive on a laminate worktop lets go at the front edge after a year of hot dishes, which is the single most common failure on kitchen work in this country.
Trade customers get a box price list and a monthly invoice.
