Joinery shops, kitchen shops and fitters who buy from us weekly can open a thirty day account: one invoice at the end of the month instead of a receipt for every trip.
Account customers get a price list that holds for a calendar month, which matters in this trade because board prices move with freight and a quotation given to your own customer has to survive until the job is done. If a price is about to move we tell account holders before it does.
Quantity breaks start at ten sheets of the same item and again at forty. For a whole project, send the drawing or the schedule and we will price the board, the laminate, the edging and the hardware as one quotation, itemised so you can see each line.
We hold stock against a project programme for account customers, which is useful for a fit out running over three months where storing forty sheets on site is not possible.
What we ask in return is that orders come in writing rather than by telephone. Every argument this yard has ever had with a customer was about a verbal order.
