Shopfront signs, acrylic letters, lit boxes, aluminium composite panel fascias, directory boards and door plates.
An acrylic face sign is from 1,200 rufiyaa a square foot and a lit box from 1,650, both including the frame and the fitting. Individually cut acrylic letters are priced by the letter and by the height, from 220 rufiyaa for a four inch letter.
The fitting is where the price varies more than the sign. A fascia over a lane too narrow for a lorry has to be carried in sections and assembled on a ladder, and a sign above a first floor window needs scaffolding or a licence for a platform. We look at the site before quoting rather than after, and we will tell you if the fitting costs more than the sign, which happens.
For lit signs we use light strips rather than tubes and we run the power cable to a switch you can reach, not to a junction inside the sign. The commonest fault we are called out to on other people's signs is a failed strip in a box that has to be taken down to reach it.
Fitting is done at night or on a Friday morning for shops that cannot close, at no extra charge if it is arranged in advance.
