What it costs
No charge Per person
The term fee is paid by bank transfer to the account named in the confirmation email, or in cash at the office on any class afternoon. Once the money has arrived we email you a receipt with your enrolment reference on it, and that reference is what the office looks up when you ring.
A second child from the same family pays less, and the office applies that when it confirms rather than asking you to claim it. A family who cannot pay the term fee should write to the office before the term starts. That conversation happens privately with the principal and it is not written on the enrolment record.
The Friday family circle is free and there is nothing to pay at all. Reserve a place so we know how many chairs to put out.
An hour in the big room on Friday afternoon, free to anybody who wants to come, and a parent sits with their child rather than dropping them off. Forty chairs and they are usually all out.
It is reading aloud together, a passage taken slowly with the teacher explaining the letters and where a reader tends to slip, and about twenty minutes at the end where children who want to read a few lines in front of the room do. Nobody is made to.
This is where children younger than seven come, because the afternoon classes start at seven years old and an hour beside a parent suits a five year old far better than an hour in a class.
Reserve a place so we know how many chairs to put out. There is nothing to pay and nobody is asked for anything at the door.
