What it costs
200.00 Per booking
The term fee is paid by bank transfer to the account named in the confirmation email, or in cash at the office on any class afternoon. Once the money has arrived we email you a receipt with your enrolment reference on it, and that reference is what the office looks up when you ring.
A second child from the same family pays less, and the office applies that when it confirms rather than asking you to claim it. A family who cannot pay the term fee should write to the office before the term starts. That conversation happens privately with the principal and it is not written on the enrolment record.
The Friday family circle is free and there is nothing to pay at all. Reserve a place so we know how many chairs to put out.
Half an hour, one person, one teacher, in the small room off the office. You read and the teacher listens, stops you where something needs correcting, and writes two or three lines on your record about what to work on.
People book this for three reasons. A parent wants to know where their child actually is rather than where the class is. An adult who has been reading for years wants the pronunciation looked at by somebody who will be frank about it. Or somebody is preparing to read in front of others and would like to be heard first by one person instead of forty.
You pick the teacher and the half hour on the form. Ustadha Rifqa teaches women and children, and the form shows only the times she is free. Ustadh Faseeh takes the rest.
What this session is not is a lesson in what you should be doing. If a question of practice comes up the teacher will answer that it is one for your own scholar, and then carry on listening to you read, which is what the half hour is for.
