Questions we are asked often

How do I know a trip is not already full

The departure list on this website shows how many seats are left on each boat, and requesting a seat takes it off the board straight away rather than when we get round to reading the message.

If a departure has gone, ask anyway. Groups drop out and we keep a short list.

When do I pay

At the office the evening before, in cash, or by bank transfer if you prefer. Nothing is paid on this website.

The four night package takes thirty percent to hold the dates and the rest on arrival.

What happens if the weather is bad

We make the call at six in the morning and message everybody on that boat by half past six. A trip we call off costs you nothing and we will try to move you to the next one.

We do not go out on a bad forecast to save a booking. It is not worth it and it is how people get hurt.

Can we come off a trip we booked

Tell us before nine the night before and it costs nothing. After that the fuel is bought and the lunch is being cooked, so we keep half.

Will we definitely see a whale shark

No, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling you something. We find one on about three mornings in four across a season.

If your boat sees nothing at all, come again for half price whenever it suits you, including a different week.

I cannot swim well. Can I still come

Yes. Float belts are on every boat and the crew will stay with you. On the sandbank trip the water at the edge is knee deep for twenty metres, and on the dolphin cruise nobody gets in at all.

Tell us when you book so the guide knows before you are in the water rather than after.
