One to one works very well for a defined problem and rather badly as a way of buying general progress.
What it is good for: a student who has missed a term through illness, a specific topic that has never made sense, examination technique in the last month, or a student whose gap is so far behind their grade that a group would be uncomfortable.
What it is not good for: a student who simply is not doing the work. An hour of individual attention does not create motivation, and a family paying three hundred rufiyaa an hour to watch a teacher work harder than the student is wasting money. We say this before taking the booking, and about a third of the people who ask decide on a group instead.
Sessions are an hour, three hundred rufiyaa, or two thousand seven hundred for ten. We do not ask for a term in advance.
