What it costs
850.00 Per booking
Pay at the hut when you arrive, in cash or by transfer. There is no deposit on a single session.
A group of six or more is asked for half up front, because six sessions booked together takes a whole afternoon off the board and once cost us the afternoon.
Two machines and two instructors, so a booking is a machine and a person rather than a place in a queue. You get a briefing on the sand, ten minutes inside the marked area to get used to the throttle, and then the run along the reef edge if you are comfortable.
An instructor rides on the back with a first timer and alongside on a second machine once you have the hang of it. Either way somebody is within shouting distance the whole time.
Riders must be sixteen or older to hold the throttle. Younger than that can ride as a passenger with an instructor driving, which is the arrangement most families end up choosing.
