We deliver ourselves. Not because a taxi cannot do it, but because a cake in a taxi is a cake on somebody's lap at a junction.
Delivery in Malé is 100 rufiyaa. Hulhumalé is 200 and needs a slot agreed the day before, because the bridge at the wrong hour turns a twenty minute run into fifty and a ganache cake does not enjoy the difference. Villingili is 250 including the ferry, and the cake goes in a box that can be carried by one person up a jetty.
We do not deliver on Friday mornings and we do not deliver after nine at night. Both of those have been tried and both ended badly.
If you are collecting, come in a car with a flat boot and empty it first. We will carry the cake down and put it in, and we will not hand a tiered cake to somebody on a cycle however confident they are.
