Naming days are our most common order after birthdays, and they need something different from a party cake: a lot of portions, easy to cut, and it has to sit on a table for three hours while people arrive in waves.
A full sheet cake feeds fifty and costs 1,450 rufiyaa. Half sheet feeds twenty five at 800. Both are single layer on purpose, because a tall filled cake collapses under a serving knife in a crowded room and a single layer does not.
Finish is usually a smooth ganache with the baby's name piped on, which holds all afternoon. If the house is not air conditioned, say so when you order and we will change the filling as well as the finish.
We deliver these ourselves rather than sending them in a taxi, because they are wide and a wide cake needs a flat surface and a slow driver.
