For a wedding or a large order, taste the cake before you commit to it. A tasting box holds four flavours with the fillings you are considering and costs 250 rufiyaa, which comes off the price of the cake if you order.
We would rather you did this than choose from photographs. Half the people who come for a tasting change their filling and about a third change the flavour, and every one of those changes is free now and impossible later.
The consultation is the more useful half. Bring the venue, the time of day and whether the room has air conditioning, and we will tell you what finish will survive it. A cake designed for a hotel ballroom and served in an open courtyard at two in the afternoon is not the same cake.
Tastings are Saturday and Sunday mornings, by appointment, at the flat in Henveiru.
