Nothing is paid on this website and no card details are asked for.

The fee shown is for the appointment: the time in the chair and the dentist looking at your teeth and telling you what they see. It is not payment for a treatment and it does not commit you to one.

Anything the dentist suggests is written down and priced before it is started, on paper you keep, and you are free to say no to all of it and pay only for the appointment. Payment is at reception when you leave, in cash or by card. If you hold dental insurance, bring the card to reception before the appointment rather than after it.

Forty five minutes in a chair to take out a tooth that has already been looked at, discussed and written down, with the reasons and the alternatives on the sheet you were given.

We will not book this as a first appointment, and reception will move you to a check up if you try. A tooth that hurts is not automatically a tooth that has to come out, and that is a judgement made by a dentist looking at it rather than by a booking form.

Tell us on the form about anything you take that thins the blood, and about any heart or bone condition or recent surgery, because it changes how the appointment is planned and sometimes changes where it should happen at all. If this clinic is not the right place, we say so and write to a hospital.

The figure is the appointment fee for a straightforward extraction. Anything more involved is quoted before it begins.
