Six or more staff from one property pay the lower rate. The course is invoiced to the resort monthly with the attendance sheet attached, and no staff member is asked for money at the door for a course somebody else is paying for.
What the property receives is hours attended. Written work, interview notes and assessment marks stay between the student and the teacher, and every staff member is told this at enrolment with their manager in the room, so that nobody discovers the arrangement afterwards.
We do not teach at a property for fewer than twelve people, and we do not teach in a staff canteen at all. Both were tried. A class that competes with an operational emergency loses every time, and the staff who lose the class are the ones who most needed it.
