For volume of about twenty five cubic metres and up, a container of your own is cheaper than loose cargo and much safer.
You can pack it yourself at your own premises and we collect it, or bring the goods to the shed and we will pack and seal it with an inventory. A container stays sealed from our shed to the island, which removes nearly every handling risk there is.
The limit is the island, not the container. A number of islands have no crane and no ramp, and there a container has to be broken down at the quay or landed on a barge, which costs time and money. We will tell you at booking which of those applies to your island rather than after the boat has arrived.
Containers are charged per unit per sailing with a free period at each end, and demurrage after that. The free period is four days here and three at the island, which is long enough for an ordinary unloading and short enough that nobody uses a container as a store room.
