Loose cargo is the service most of our customers use. You bring it to the shed, or we collect it in Male, and it goes on the next sailing for your island.
It is charged by the cubic metre or the tonne, whichever is greater, with a minimum of one box. That minimum matters: plenty of carriers will not quote below a pallet, which leaves a shopkeeper needing one carton of spare parts with no sensible option.
Everything is measured and weighed in front of you and written on the booking note, so there is no argument later about a volume nobody recorded. We mark each piece with your name and the island on two sides.
Rates are published per route and per cubic metre and we hold them for the quarter. A rate that changes with the tide is impossible for a shop to plan around.
