The rider carries a docket, the receiver signs it and prints their name and identity card number, and the signed docket is returned to you rather than photographed. Where you need it, we will also record the time and refuse to leave the document with anybody other than the named person.
This is a different service from a parcel and we price it separately because it is slower. A rider waiting for a named person to come down to a lobby is a rider not delivering anything else, and pretending otherwise is how a document service quietly becomes a photograph of an envelope left at a reception desk.
For law offices and accountants we hold a standing arrangement: a collection at a fixed hour, dockets returned the same evening, and a monthly invoice with every docket number on it.
We will not deliver anything we are told is a legal notice without knowing it is one, because the handling is different and being told afterwards is no use to anybody.
