What it costs
200.00 Per booking
For anything we do here, the figure on the booking form is what it costs when the phone is what we expect. It is an estimate until the back is off, and if the phone turns out to need more, you hear the number from us before anything is fitted.
For anything that goes to Malé in the box, there is no figure at all until the workshop has opened it. What we take at the counter is the send fee, which pays for the packing, the boat both ways and the workshop's assessment. Once they have looked, we ring you with their figure and you decide. Say no and the phone comes home on the next boat with the board untouched, and you have paid the send fee and nothing else.
We do not add anything on top of what the workshop charges for the repair. Ask to see their slip and we will show you.
Forty five minutes at the setup table, for the phone you have just bought, here or anywhere else.
We move your contacts, your photographs, your messaging history and your applications across, sign you back into the bank and the ride applications, and then, which is the part people skip, we check on the new phone that the photographs are really there before the old one is wiped.
Older customers and anybody who has never done it before: bring both phones, both passwords and a little patience. Nothing here is difficult and all of it is fiddly.
We do not wipe your old phone unless you ask us to, and if you ask, we do it in front of you.
