The academy takes donations towards the building fund, which at present means the roof over the hall and the fans in it. Donations are separate from fees and are not mixed with them in the books.
How it works: a transfer to the account printed on the donations page, then an email or a message to the office with the reference, and the office sends back a receipt with its own reference on it. Nothing is collected on this website, there is no card payment here, and nobody from the academy will ever ask for a donation in a message you did not start.
What we will not print is a running total, because the only figure anybody here can stand behind is the one the treasurer has closed a month on, and a number on a web page moves faster than that. Ask the office what the fund stands at and you will be told the last closed figure and the date it was closed on.
