Every other workshop on this road takes whatever rolls in. We take bikes, and only bikes, and that decision is why we can say an hour and mean it.
A workshop that has a car on the lift and your scooter leaning on a wall will finish the car first, every time, because the car is worth more that afternoon. So your hour becomes a day, and nobody lied to you, it is just how a shared workshop works.
Two ramps, both at bike height, both with the tools for bikes within arm's reach. Nobody here is looking for a car socket set. A service is an hour because an hour is all it takes when the workshop is set up for it.
And the parts shelf is a bike parts shelf: belts, rollers, pads, shoes, cables, plugs, bulbs, tubes and tyres for the models this island actually rides. Most jobs are done the same day because the part is already here.
