Scooter service
An hour on a ramp. Oil, filter, brakes, tyres and eighteen checks.
320.00 Per booking
A service is an hour because this workshop is set up for bikes and nothing else. Belts, brakes, tyres and the salt work that decides how long a scooter lasts here.
Two ramps, a wash bay, and a rider check over morning every fortnight. Nothing is paid on this website.

No warning light. The first sign is slipping on the causeway.
Six years here is more corrosion than fifteen years somewhere cold.
Ramp two is held off the form every morning. Just come.
We ring about every extra, however small. That is why nobody wonders.
No cars, no pickups, no generators. It is the reason a service is an hour.
About fifteen thousand kilometres, no warning, and then you are pushing.
A bike at six years old on this island has the rust of a fifteen year old bike somewhere cold.
And a telephone call every single time a job grows, even for forty rufiyaa.
Ramp two is held off the form every morning for people who woke up to a flat tyre.
No cars, no bodywork, no engine rebuilds, and no dangerous brake or tyre back on the road.
Booked a four o'clock ramp and rode out at five. They rang me about a sixty rufiyaa cable before fitting it, which I still find slightly funny and completely reassuring.
The salt wash fixed my indicators, which I had not even mentioned. Six years of riding and nobody had told me the connectors were the problem.
Took our son and his first bike to the check over morning. They told him what to look at every week and sold us nothing at all.
Because there are only two ramps, and holding one is what lets us say an hour and keep to it.
Your confirmation email says which ramp is yours. Ramp two is also held off the form until ten every morning for punctures, so if you woke up to a flat tyre, just come.
Yes, and most people do. A service is an hour, brakes and tyres is an hour, a belt and rollers is ninety minutes.
There are chairs, a fan and cold water. If the job turns out to need a part we do not have, we will tell you within the first twenty minutes rather than at the end.
Open the link in your confirmation email. It shows pending while we have the request, confirmed once the ramp and the time are held, and completed once the bike is finished and ready to ride away.
We ring you as well. The page is for the afternoon you are at work and just want to know.
If you ride an automatic scooter, yes, about every fifteen thousand kilometres, and there is no warning light for it.
The belt drives the bike and the rollers decide how it pulls away. When they wear, the bike gets slower off a junction and then it starts slipping, and then one afternoon the belt goes and you are pushing. Done on time it is ninety minutes. Done afterwards it is that plus a tow and sometimes the clutch shoes too.
It is the booking we would choose if we could only choose one for a bike on this island.
Salt sits inside the frame tubes, in the connectors, around the exhaust mounts and inside the rims, and it works all year whether you ride or not. A bike here at six years old often has the corrosion of a much older bike somewhere cold. Two hours once a year, properly done with the panels off, is the difference between a bike worth selling at eight years and one worth scrapping.
Almost always a connector that has turned green rather than anything electronic.
It is part of the salt wash, which is why that booking fixes electrical oddities people did not even mention when they brought the bike in. If the wash does not fix it, we will trace it properly and tell you the figure first.
Take a place in the next check over morning. Twenty minutes on the ramp with you standing next to it, a written sheet, and nothing sold at the end.
