Nothing is paid on this website. Booking a seat takes it off the sailing straight away, and you will have a reference by message within a few minutes.
Pay at the counter before boarding, in cash or by transfer. A transfer sent the night before is fine and the reference is your receipt.
Seats are numbered on the boat and given out at the jetty in the order the bookings came in. Families and anybody travelling with a small child are seated together first, before anything else is allocated.

From the channel jetty on the south side, which is where the boat came in and not where the dive boats tie up. Twenty minutes early is right, because the jetty is narrow and loading forty eight people with bags takes time.
The first boat of the day is a working boat and it is quiet in a way visitors enjoy. The last one on a Friday afternoon is the opposite and books out days ahead.
Fifty minutes on a good day. The skipper will tell you honestly at the jetty if it is going to be closer to seventy.
