What it costs

Pay at the counter before boarding, in cash or by transfer. A transfer sent the night before is fine and the reference is your receipt.
Seats are numbered on the boat and given out at the jetty in the order the bookings came in. Families and anybody travelling with a small child are seated together first, before anything else is allocated.
Fifty minutes direct, or an hour and five when the sailing calls at Himmafushi on the way, which it does on three of the six runs. The timetable on this website says which, so read the note on the sailing rather than assuming.
Huraa has a lagoon that is shallow a long way out, so the boat comes alongside a channel jetty rather than the beach. It is a flat five minutes into the village from there.
Forty eight and thirty six seat boats work this route. Water is on board and there is a canopy over every seat.
