What it costs
250.00 Per person
Pay at the counter before boarding, in cash or by transfer. A transfer sent the night before is fine and the reference is your receipt.
Seats are numbered on the boat and given out at the jetty in the order the bookings came in. Families and anybody travelling with a small child are seated together first, before anything else is allocated.
Twenty four seats, no stop on the way and about forty minutes door to door, on four evenings a week. It was put on for people who finish work in Male at five and would otherwise lose the whole evening.
It is a smaller boat and it feels like one in any kind of sea. If the forecast is poor we cancel this sailing before we cancel any of the others, and we cancel it by five in the afternoon so nobody is standing on the jetty in the dark.
It costs more than the daytime boat because twenty four seats have to pay for the same fuel. Bags are limited to one each on this sailing, with no cargo at all.
