Surfboards, bicycles and dive bags go on the daytime boats for a flat charge per item and are strapped down at the back under a cover. Tell us when you book so the rack is kept.
Boards longer than seven foot are fine on the big boats and awkward on the small one, so if you are carrying one, take a morning sailing.
We have never lost anything off the back. We have twice had a board come off in a following sea and both times it was recovered, and both times it was tied on by its owner rather than by the crew.
