Every session starts on the sand: what the machine or the board does, where the marked area ends, what the hand signals mean and what happens if you come off.
It is fifteen minutes and it is the reason we have never had anybody go outside the marked water. A rider who arrives too late for the briefing does not go out, which is why the booking says fifteen minutes early.
Briefings are given in Dhivehi, English or Hindi.
